Fixing the Faroese

I thought this might be a teaching moment so I am uploading pictures of my fix on the Faroese Shawl. First, I threaded a size 1 circular thru the row under the mistake, then I dropped all of the affected stitches and will attempt to reknit just those. I found another size three circular and used that to knit the dropped stitches, using my original needle as a stitch holder. My stitch holder for the other side of the fix is a diaper pin that was handy when I was working on this. The hardest part was getting the tension right. I have two pictures showing the fix in progress.

The top picture, if you look closely, has more snarled yarn, so that is frogged back further. the second picture is in the process of the fix. I have knitted some of the snarled loops back in. I just carefully picked up the next strand and knitted it carefully across trying to keep the tension even.
