Once in July

Well if I hurry up and post today, I will get in one for July... Summer is a bad time for me and knitting. I don't get in nearly as much knitting time as I would like to. Seems like it is only after the kids are in bed (which is later because it is summer) and that is about it. There is no waiting for kids in front of the school or at piano or dance, knitting happily away.

That said, I do have some finished projects. Okay, in order of appearance, my finished Kiilas. (Please hold the applause until the end, thank you.) Kate's finished hot pink zebras and some messing around with her brother. And, last but not least, a crocheted pot holder. That one I whipped out in less than a week and it was soooo easy. I have started another pair of sock using the left over yarn from the zebras but I am not doing the short rows/stripes, just knitting and letting the colors spiral on their own.
