Just one more row

Just one more row bit me in the butt last night. I so wanted to get to a certain spot on the toe of my "With a Twist" socks and kept on with "just one more row," until I realized it was 12:30 AM AND on a school night! While I am not in school, I still kind of have to get up and get my kids off... I miss the days of afternoon preschool and even elementary school which started later. They are now both in middle school and my daughter has to be at the bus stop by about 7:15 AM. Since we had a level 3 sex offender move into the neighborhood, I feel the need to go with her to the bus stop. He has since moved away, but now there is the story of the 11 year old taken from the bus stop and found 18 years later. YIKES!! All of which means I have to be up and dressed (and I am so not a morning person.) So I let the dog out and got myself ready for bed, and then had to wait around for the dog to decide to get her butt home at a few minutes after 1:00 AM.

Tonight is knit night with the nw twin city 'burbs knit nights group on Ravelry, so I had to have a nap because I can't go to bed early. And I hope to finish my socks then. As soon as I get the twist socks and the waterfall socks done, I can start these. I am on the ribbing for the waterfall socks (toe up) and decreasing for the toes on the Twists (cuff down) so I am almost there!
